Designed to meet the needs of a diverse population, the development will feature 81 one-bedroom, 113 two-bedroom, and 58 three-bedroom units, with 26 of them being handicap accessible. These homes will serve households earning between 30% and 80% of the area median income, ensuring a range of affordability for individuals and families alike.
More Than Housing: Building Community
This redevelopment isn’t just about creating homes; it’s about fostering community. Fayette Place will include thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces such as three plazas, a playground, multi-use fields, and a grilling pavilion with picnic tables. Residents will also benefit from a community center featuring a fitness center, laundry room, computer room, and a multipurpose space.
Phase two will add 270 multifamily units, 68 of which will be reserved specifically for seniors. The final phases of the project will introduce 43 affordable single-family homes, offering even more options for future residents.
